Brad Scrivner is the CEO of Vast Bank. Since 2012, he’s been responsible for running all facets of the organization.
Before joining Vast Bank, Scrivner served as market president (Tulsa) for Kansas City-based UMB Bank. His pathway into financial services, however, is anything but normal. He began his career as a System & Design Engineer at a nuclear plant, but eventually transitioned into Consultative Sales with Xerox and then Merrill Lynch. This unique background has Scrivner well-positioned to lead Vast Bank in a time where the banking industry is experiencing massive transformation.
Scrivner holds an MBA from William Woods University and received his undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Missouri. While there, he earned 3 varsity letters as a defensive back on the Missouri Tiger football team.
Scrivner has been married 28 years, and has two grown kids. He loves golf, hiking, sports and hanging out with friends and family.

From Brad
"It is an incredible honor to be named the Advantage Foundry Network’s Disruptor of the Year. Over the past year, Vast Bank became the first national bank to make Crypto Banking a reality. We have always put our customers first. The ability to securely buy, sell, and manage cryptocurrency with their regular banking accounts, using the banking platform they already know and trust, is something they have wanted for a long time. We made this happen for them. I am immensely proud of the entire team at Vast Bank for achieving this groundbreaking milestone--we could not have done it without their hard work and dedication."
From AFN Chairman Stephen Kuhn
"From the get-go, Brad Scrivner was an obvious strong contender for the AFN 2021 Disruptor CEO of the Year. He has led the transformation of Vast Bank from a traditional community bank into the first national bank to provide everyday consumers access to full cryptocurrency and digital asset banking services. Vast is the vanguard of a new era of banking for everyone. Great job, Brad!"
